沥青凭黏弹特性成为公路建设选择

沥青是石油工业的副产品,却是公路建设的“主角”。它并非简单的黑色液体,而是一种高黏度、具有显著粘弹性的有机胶凝材料。正是这种介于固体与液体之间的独特性质,赋予了沥青路面“刚柔并济”的品格:既能作为胶粘剂将碎石牢固锁住,又能在重压下缓慢变形消散应力,从而成为现代高等级公路不可替代的“灵魂材料”。

Asphalt is a byproduct of the petroleum industry, but it is the "protagonist" of highway construction. It is not a simple black liquid, but an organic cementitious material with high viscosity and significant viscoelasticity. It is precisely this unique property between solid and liquid that endows asphalt pavement with a "combination of rigidity and flexibility": it can serve as an adhesive to firmly lock crushed stones, and can slowly deform and dissipate stress under heavy pressure, thus becoming an irreplaceable "soul material" for modern high-grade highways.

一、使用范围:基础建设无处不在

沥青的用途优于想象。道路工程是绝对核心,占全球总量的80%以上。无论是沥青混凝土路面,还是透层、粘层、封层,都离不开沥青。此外,它还是建筑防水(屋面卷材、地下防潮)、水利防渗(大坝心墙)、防腐工程(管道涂层)以及炭素制品(电出彩粘结剂)的关键基础材料。

The use of asphalt is far beyond imagination. Road engineering is the absolute core, accounting for over 80% of the global total. Whether it is asphalt concrete pavement, prime coat, adhesive layer, or seal coat, asphalt is indispensable. 防水与防腐:沥青不溶于水且化学性质稳定,具有天然的防水、防锈、防腐能力。这使得无论是暴露在风雨中的路面,还是埋在地下的管道,大多能依靠沥青涂层获得长久保护。

Waterproof and anti-corrosion: Asphalt is insoluble in water and chemically stable, with natural waterproof, rust proof, and anti-corrosion capabilities. This enables both road surfaces exposed to wind and rain and buried pipelines to rely on asphalt coatings for long-term protection.

出众的粘结与自愈:沥青与砂石材料具有出众的亲和力。它能形成薄膜包裹矿料,依靠粘结力提供路面强度。同时,由于其粘弹性,路面在荷载下产生的微小裂缝在一定条件下具有“自愈”能力(尤其在高温期),这是水泥混凝土难以企及的优势。

Excellent adhesion and self-healing: Asphalt and sandstone materials have a strong affinity. It can form a thin film to wrap around mineral materials and provide road strength through adhesive force. Meanwhile, due to its viscoelasticity, the tiny cracks generated on the road surface under load have the ability to "self heal" under certain conditions (especially during high temperature periods), which is an advantage that cement concrete cannot match.

三、沥青分类与选择

3、 Classification and selection of asphalt

根据来源,沥青分为石油沥青、天然沥青和煤焦沥青。道路工程优选石油沥青。石油沥青按针入度分级(如70号、90号),或按PG性能分级以适应不同气候区。近年来,为了应对出彩端气候,改性沥青已成主流。例如在深中通道海底隧道铺装中,采用的特种改性沥青需确保在高温下不流淌、低温下不开裂,兼顾了隧道内特殊的防火与行车需求。

According to the source, asphalt is divided into petroleum asphalt, natural asphalt, and coal tar asphalt. Petroleum asphalt is the preferred choice for road engineering. Petroleum asphalt is classified according to penetration degree (such as 70, 90), or according to PG performance to adapt to different climate zones. In recent years, modified asphalt has become mainstream in response to extreme weather conditions.
