沥青混凝土:现代道路工程的“黑色基石”

沥青混凝土(俗称沥青砼)是由沥青、粗集料、细集料、矿粉及外加剂按科学比例拌合而成的复合材料。作为现代公路建设中最广泛采用的高级路面材料,它不仅构成了道路的柔性面层,更是保障行车安全、舒适与高效的核心基石。

Asphalt concrete (commonly known as asphalt concrete) is a composite material composed of asphalt, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, mineral powder, and additives mixed in scientific proportions. As the most widely used advanced pavement material in modern highway construction, it not only constitutes the flexible surface layer of the road, but also serves as the core cornerstone for ensuring driving safety, comfort, and efficiency.

从材料构成来看,沥青混凝土是一个精密的微观结构体系。沥青作为胶结料,将松散的矿料粘结成整体;粗集料(如碎石)构成坚固的受力骨架,提供抗压与抗剪强度;细集料与矿粉则负责填充空隙,改善混合料的和易性与密实度。为了适应极端气候与重载交通,现代工程常采用SBS改性沥青或沥青玛蹄脂碎石(SMA)等高性能材料,以显著提升路面的高温抗车辙能力与低温抗裂性。

1沥青料

From the perspective of material composition, asphalt concrete is a precise microstructure system. Asphalt serves as a binder to bond loose mineral aggregates into a cohesive whole; Coarse aggregates (such as crushed stones) form a strong load-bearing skeleton, providing compressive and shear strength; Fine aggregate and mineral powder are responsible for filling the voids, improving the workability and compactness of the mixture. In order to adapt to extreme weather and heavy traffic, modern engineering often uses high-performance materials such as SBS modified asphalt or asphalt mastic crushed stone (SMA) to significantly improve the high-temperature rutting resistance and low-temperature crack resistance of the road surface.

在力学与使用性能上,沥青混凝土展现出显著的柔性特征。相较于刚性水泥路面,它具备优良的弹塑性与变形能力,能够适应地基的不均匀沉降,不易发生脆性断裂。同时,沥青路面平整度高、表面构造深度适宜,不仅能有效降低轮胎与路面摩擦产生的噪音,还能提供出色的抗滑性能,大幅提升行车舒适度与安全性。此外,其施工周期短、开放交通快、后期维护修补便捷等优势,使其成为高速公路及城市主干道的首选。

In terms of mechanics and performance, asphalt concrete exhibits significant flexibility characteristics. Compared to rigid cement pavement, it has excellent elastic-plastic and deformation capabilities, can adapt to uneven settlement of the foundation, and is less prone to brittle fracture. At the same time, asphalt pavement has high smoothness and suitable surface structure depth, which not only effectively reduces the noise generated by tire road friction, but also provides excellent anti-skid performance, greatly improving driving comfort and safety. In addition, its advantages such as short construction period, fast open traffic, and convenient maintenance and repair in the later stage make it the preferred choice for highways and urban main roads.

沥青混凝土路面的质量与寿命,高度依赖于严格的施工工艺。其核心流程包括:首先,通过拌合站精确控制温度与时间,确保混合料均匀无花白料;其次,采用摊铺机连续、匀速摊铺,避免离析与厚度不均;最后,也是最关键的碾压环节,需严格遵循“初压、复压、终压”三阶段工艺,利用钢轮与轮胎压路机组合,在适宜温度下使路面达到极高的密实度。

The quality and service life of asphalt concrete pavement highly depend on strict construction techniques. The core process includes: firstly, accurately controlling the temperature and time through the mixing station to ensure that the mixture is uniform and free of white materials; Secondly, a continuous and uniform paving machine is used to avoid segregation and uneven thickness; Finally, and also the most critical compaction process, it is necessary to strictly follow the three-stage process of "initial compaction, re compaction, and final compaction", using a combination of steel wheels and tire rollers to achieve extremely high compaction of the road surface at suitable temperatures.

然而,沥青路面在长期服役中也面临诸多挑战。夏季高温易导致车辙,冬季严寒易引发裂缝,而雨水渗入与紫外线老化则是缩短路面寿命的隐形杀手。因此,在工程建设中,必须通过优化级配设计、严控施工质量以及及时的预防性养护,才能确保沥青混凝土路面发挥其应有的长效价值。

However, asphalt pavement also faces many challenges in long-term service. High temperatures in summer can easily cause ruts, while severe winters can lead to cracks. Rainwater infiltration and UV aging are hidden killers that shorten the lifespan of road surfaces. Therefore, in engineering construction, it is necessary to optimize grading design, strictly control construction quality, and timely preventive maintenance to ensure that asphalt concrete pavement can play its due long-term value.
